Harpeth Capital Announces Addition of Paula Lovell to Advisory Board

Harpeth Companies is pleased to announce the addition of Paula Lovell to the Firm’s Advisory Board.  Commenting on the addition, Chuck Byrge, President and CEO said, “Paula is highly respected for her business accumen and professional achievements.  We are honored she has agreed to serve on our Advisory Board and look forward to her insight and counsel.”

Ms. Lovell founded national public relations firm, Lovell Communications Inc., in 1988 following 10 years as a print and television journalist, producer and on-air talent.  She spent almost 30 years as president and CEO of her firm, where she assisted organizations and public and private businesses throughout the country with their marketing, public relations and crisis communications.  Ms. Lovell worked with clients in healthcare, education, transportation, banking and finance, professional services, hospitality, construction and real estate, manufacturing, insurance, technology, and retail.  Under her leadership, the firm earned numerous awards for its work in reputation management, branding, media relations, direct mail, technical writing, sales materials, social media, interactive marketing, website development, issues management, creative events, employee relations and crisis communications.

Ms. Lovell has been a featured speaker for many national organizations and business enterprises and the winner of many awards including the 2013 Spirit of the Chamber Award; the 2007 Spirit of Free Enterprise Award from Junior Achievement; the 2007 Career Communications Achievement Award from the International Association of Business Communications; the Hercules Award from the Public Relations Society of America, and 1997 Woman Business Owner of the Year by NAWBO.  

Ms. Lovell is a past Chairman of the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, which oversees much of the southeast region of the U.S.  She served in board positions with the Federal Reserve Bank (Atlanta and Nashville) from 1993-2003.

Ms. Lovell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University.  She serves on the board of Averitt Express, Inc. and is a member of Women Corporate Directors.  She has served on more than 30 professional and not-for-profit boards and is an active community volunteer.
