- Served as financial advisor to the Board of Directors of SCB Computer Technology, Inc. (formerly, OTCBB: SCBI), a provider of IT consulting and staffing services to government and commercial clients, and rendered a fairness opinion in connection with the$95 million sale of the company to CIBER, Inc. (NYSE: CBR).
- Served as financial advisor to the Board of Directors of Digital Biometrics, Inc. (formerly, NASD: DBII), a provider of identification information systems that employ ?biometric? technology, and rendered a fairness opinion in connection with the $40 million acquisition of Visionics Corporation, a leading provider of facial recognition technologies. The combined company has since merged with Identix Incorporated (Nasdaq; IDNX).
- Served as financial advisor to UCS, Inc., a developer of mobile work force software for law enforcement agencies, on the $19 million sale of the company to HTE, Inc. (formerly, Nasdaq: HTEI).
- Served as financial advisor to the Special Committee of the Board of Directors of Smartdisk Corporation (formerly, Nasdaq: SMDK) and rendered a fairness opinion in connection with a private investment in the equity of the company by an affiliate of the company.
- Served as financial advisor to ChanneLinx, Inc., a provider of software for the building materials and petrochemicals industry, in connection with a $20 million private placement of equity.
- Served as financial advisor to dotOne Corporation, an electronic messaging software provider, in connection with its $53 million sale to Critical Path, Inc. (Nasdaq: CPTH.PK).
- Served as financial advisor to MESA International, Inc., a provider of manufacturing process control software, in connection with a $4 million private placement of subordinated debt with warrants.
