Harpeth Capital Holds 6th Annual Healthcare Forum at City Winery
Mayor Karl Dean kicked off Harpeth Capital’s 6th Annual Healthcare Forum on November 11 by highlighting some of Nashville’s recent successes. He noted all the development taking place in the SoBro district. Companies such as the newly-opened City Winery represent how far Nashville has come when you consider their other three locations are New York, Chicago and Napa.
Following the Mayor, Larry Van Horn, Executive Director of Health Affairs at Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School, discussed how the Affordable Care Act has impacted healthcare consumers to date and how the country still faces a very uncertain future with rising healthcare costs outstripping revenue sources.
Approximately 150 healthcare executives and professionals participated in the event. A link to the Nashville Business Journal’s story can be found here.
